Rheinmetall is delivering the BOXER 8x8 Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle to the Australian Defence Force under the $5.2 billion Land 400 Phase 2 program. The company’s LYNX KF41 Infantry Fighting Vehicle was recently downselected to compete in trials for the $15billion Land 400 Phase 3 trials next year.
Rheinmetall will complete its Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence next year as it works with selected industry partners across Australia to establish a sovereign military vehicle industry. The company is also establishing a new munitions forging facility and expanding its Electronic Solutions and Protection business into Australia.
Rheinmetall’s Australian Industry Capability team will hold a 45 minute briefing and be pleased to meet with local company representatives for business to business discussions after the briefing.
